The Loomis Library and Community Learning Center hosts a large and diverse collection of books. You can browse, renew, and reserve library materials online by logging into our library catalog or by visiting the library during hours of operation.

  • All materials can be checked out for a period of three weeks.
  • Up to 25 materials can be borrowed on one card.
  • Materials can be renewed up to two times providing the materials are not reserved by another patron.
  • Materials can be returned to the library during normal operating hours or by depositing them in our 24-hour drop box.
  • We are a Fine Free Library. Fines will not be assessed for items that are overdue. Items overdue for 30 days will instead be considered lost.
  • Lost or damaged materials will be subject to a replacement fee. Any fines that exceed $10 will lock your account and prevent any further checkouts until resolution.
Please Note
The Loomis Library is an independent town library and is not associated with the Placer County Library system.

We do not accept returns of Placer County library materials nor can Loomis Library materials be returned to Placer County Libraries.
