Placer County closed its branch in Loomis on July 31, 2016. But the Town has reopened the Library with the help of Friends of the Loomis Library volunteers. In November 2016, Loomis voters passed Measures F and G to fund the library with a 1/4 cent Loomis city sales tax, beginning in April 2017. The Community Room also is currently open, serving community groups.
The library is open Thursday-Saturday 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
