The Friends of the Loomis Library is a California 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and donations make the work we do within our community possible. Gifts are tax-deductible under the fullest extent allowable under the law.

Books:
We accept gently used books. All book donations are evaluated and either added to our collection or sold at the book sales. The proceeds from book sales help to fund library programs and purchase new materials.
- We accept 1 box (copy paper box size) or bag (paper grocery bag size) of books at a time due to limited storage and processing time.
- Book donations can be made during regular library hours.
- Magazines no more than three years old can be left in our free community magazine bin inside the library. Please remove personal identification on all donations.
- Not accepted:
- textbooks
- audiobooks
- trade journals
- encyclopedia
- VHS, cassette tapes, or DVDs
