Library card applicants must be residents of California.

Library Privileges:

Check out books, audiobooks, DVDs, magazines, and CDs.
Access our selection of databases from home or in the library.
Login to public computers.
Participate in library programs.

All ages are eligible for a library card, but minors need a parent or guardian to bring in ID and fill out the application.
Temporary online Library Card Application

Please fill out the form below and we will issue a temporary library card. This can be used to access online materials via HOOPLA Digital Library and materials from our collection that can be picked up at curbside. A full library card application and verification of address must be submitted to convert a temporary card to a permanent card when we resume normal business hours. We will contact you within 3-5 business days to verify the temporary account.

•I understand the library provides a broad range of materials, in print, in other formats, as well as through the Internet, some of which may not be suitable for minors.
 
• I understand that Library policy permits children access to all resources and materials within the library. All library cardholders are granted user confidentiality under the California Public Records Act (Government Code 6267) which prohibits the release of circulation records of library users.

I accept responsibility for the selections I make for myself and selections made by my children.  

• I agree to obey the rules and regulations of the Loomis Library and to be responsible for all materials borrowed and for all charges incurred for any overdue, lost, or damaged materials borrowed with this card.

• Most materials check out for 21 days. Overdue fines of 25 cents per day to a maximum of $10 is charged on all materials returned late.
• I agree to notify the library of changes in address or email address, telephone number, and name, or if this card is lost or stolen.
